International Children's Day
Today is International Children's Day, many parents are preparing surprises for their
children. Some parents have already planned the holiday arrangements and plan to drive out
as a family. We should also pay attention to the safety of their children while enjoying them.
1. Children do not sit in the co-pilot position
The co-pilot position is the most dangerous position in the car. In this position, children not only suffer serious
injuries when encountering an accident, but the child's active mobility may also interfere with normal driving
and induce accidents. In daily life, there are often some parents holding their children sitting in the front
passenger seat, even if the passenger seat is equipped with an airbag, it will not work, because when the
airbag is opened to release the gas, the speed will reach about 300 kilometers per hour, which will cause a
lot of problems. The large force puts children in danger of suffocation.
2. Children need to have their own seats
One seat per person. Children need to have their own seats, do not sit on the parents’ lap. Many parents have
the misunderstanding that being held by an adult or sitting on an adult’s lap while riding in a car is an effective
protection for children. In fact, once an emergency brake occurs, this method does not provide protection at all.
When the car brakes at a speed of 50 or 60 kilometers per hour, even if an adult is holding a 3-year-old child
weighing 12kg, he needs at least 150 kg of power. In a sudden state, this is obviously beyond the adult’s control of.
3. Use safety devices
The correct use of safety devices such as seat belts, child safety seats, and heightened cushions can greatly
reduce the chance of children being injured. However, rear-facing child safety seats cannot be installed on the
front seats equipped with passenger airbags.
4. Anti motion sickness
If the child is irritable and crying 10 minutes after getting in the car, and the look becomes peaceful within a
quarter of an hour after getting off the car, it is necessary to consider whether the child is motion sickness.
Children with motion sickness usually look pale after getting in the car. If you find that your child has motion
sickness, you should try your best to travel by bike. If you can walk around, of course it is better.
5. Don't leave your child alone in the car
If parents need to get out of the car to deal with things, it is best to leave someone to look after the children,
and don't let the children stay in the car alone. The inside of the car is a slightly sealed space, and the air
content is not much. If the child is locked in the car alone, it is easy to cause a serious threat to the child's life
and safety. Moreover, children will have fear.
6. Don't let children stick their heads out of the window at will
During the ride, do not let your children stick their heads out of the window or play around in the car to avoid accidents.
Have a nice day with your kids : )
